Mons Abbey Family of Beers
Our unique combination of ingredients, tradition and expertise are found nowhere else… our traditional bottle-conditioned ales are truly special. It's a labor of love to bring you the best—and quality is never rushed or compromised. To the wort (the mix of unfermented ingredients), genuine Belgian Trappist yeast is added, and a cold fermentation process takes place for several weeks. Once the beer has matured, it’s time for bottle-conditioning. Fresh yeast and sugar are added during bottling, and a second fermentation begins in the hot room, for another two weeks. The beer is then matured for another two to six weeks, and finally… it’s ready to drink. Try some…we are sure you will be delighted!
